Director, Product Experience & Design

Currently, I am the Director, Product Experience & Design leading Product Management, Design, Research, and Operations at DataGrail. In my time at DataGrail I’ve scaled the Product team 3x. Increased velocity of feature development by 300%. Led the implementation of our design system including a UI refresh and color palette update. Led conversations around improving overall team engagement and up leveling our core values across the organization. Worked closely with the team to establish UXR and Product Operations, rolling out initiatives to organize customer feedback, re-establish our product development lifecycle, and more.

About me

Designer. Mentor. Father. Husband. Friend.

I have been designing user interfaces and building websites for over 10 years. Prior to starting a career in design I was a musician, designing logos and websites for bands. As time went on, I knew that I wanted to design great products and build great relationships.

Over the last few years I have gone through a fair amount of change, most people have. For me, I went through a physical transformation losing over 120 lbs. We are currently homeschooling our 5 year old daughter while working fully remote.

I am passionate about the work I do, my family, and my hobbies. I practice CrossFit and try to be very active in the community, I hold a CF-OL1 and coach twice a week.

I was in the first cohort to attend the Be On Deck: Design Leader Fellowship. The On Deck Designer Fellowship is an eight-week remote program for ambitious designers who want to hone their skills, increase their impact and grow as leaders.
